Tower Lifting Preparation

December 2013 & January 2014

Tower preparations

The new tower has to be put together. The top section is lifted. Using my 3x380VAC winch with electrical (mechanical) brake.

Heavy machinery can not been used to remove the towers fron the lawn.

Winch

This is not a ''one-men's-job'' but I have to do it myself without backup. The winch has been secured at the wooden Euro-pallet to prevent release and the wire is attached to the tower section.

Pull

Pulling the two sections from the back yard.

  Turn

rotate the two sections 180 degrees.

Rotate

It needs some agility, but after some movements the sections are turned into the right position.

Work

Using wooden poles to support the sections and it makes sliding simply.

Damage

Athough the tower sections are hot dipped galvanized and painted there is some damage which has to be resolved.

Painting
