Frontplates

Design and Build

August 2009.

For the several homebrew project I did need some professional frontplates to complete the view.

After the design in a DTP program, such as Adobe or Corel, print the 1:1 model to the printer on normal paper.

Cutting the holes and adjusting the paper to the frontplate.

Checking the components and drilling the holes into the new cover.

Because I dont like the screws in the frontplates, glue the screws using epoxy.

  The result and final check.

Printing the final design to a color laserprinter using special adhesive material.

After cutting the adhesive material, glue it to the frontplate.

Last project in October 2009 was the K9AY switchbox.

On the right you can see all homebrew frontplates and equipement.
